Partially. He also holds him back because he's a very sub-par passer for a first line player.
Huberdeau can whip impossible passes around at the drop of a hat, and if he played with someone that could link a second pass together, the points would be piling up significantly faster.
Huberdeau had to turn himself into a grinder in front of the net, because that's the only way you're getting a chance generated by Kadri.
