Weegar is a very fine defenseman but lacks offensive creativity that d-men like Makar or Hughes have.

Some teams have skill and some don't. But for those that don't, you can't just keep slinging it around the boards, do board battles only to keep it on the boards some more....you have to eventually funnel pucks to the net and hope for a greasy one or take the puck off the wall and drive to the net. This is the first time i have seen a flames team consistently keep the puck outside with no plan on how to get it to the net. so weird.
