I don't think that NDP bleed is something specific to their actions, I think it's mostly people who recognize the seriousness of the moment and what the next election requires.
The NDP are not going to form government, so a vote for them is merely a principled one that is frankly foolish based on the USSA/Canada political situation.
Conservatives are starting to bleed support from people who were likely voting that way as a form of "let's change things up."
Pierre Poilievre is being exposed for having no message outside of "I'm not Justin and axe the tax" and it's pretty pathetic. Conservative messaging for a decade now has been Canada is broken, Liberals are broken, but providing nothing of note that they would actually do to noticeably improve people's lives.
