There is a pretty blatant tone-deafness to the CPC at this point, and they're still campaigning against Trudeau and his policies, whereas the rest of the country has moved on from that. I realize there is that, say, 30% of people in Calgary who hate the Liberals and will never vote for them. But those aren't people you need to worry about because they're voting CPC regardless. It's the softer support; in some of the city ridings, it'll be tighter than it has been for a long time.

People are very concerned about this. Walk down some aisles in the grocery store or look at some of the travel and purchasing decisions people make these days. There's a very motivated electorate at this point and that is going to show through in the election.
