Let's not kid anyone here, Singh absolutely destroyed the NDP himself without the CPC's help. He completely made the NDP irrelevant by attaching the NDP wagon to Trudeau instead of making the NDP a viable governing party alternative. Now that Trudeau is gone and there is a new viable alternative being provided, the NDP is left with zero purpose and now he is facing an election he will have no say in. Who is NDP's base at this point? Just die hard partisan supporters who still claim Singh did a good job and continue to defend them?

Poilievre meanwhile just had to adapt to the cold hard Trump reality and change the party focus to be Canada's defender while heavily criticizing Trump like Doug Ford did, he couldn't or wouldn't. CPC could easily have kept its lead if they used Ford's playbook right from the start. That is a complete CPC own goal and they still don't get it.

Liberals have adapted by shifting hard right from where Trudeau was to the radical center, recruiting Tories as part of the war cabinet. Yes they were the recipient of incredible luck and timing, but they took advantage of it.

What does the NDP offer to Canadians today? That's why they are going to fall out of official party status. And Liberals are stealing several of the CPC's policies while Poilievre is left dumbfounded and unable to adapt, stuck on Just Like Justin and Carbon Tax Carney.
