Here is why Liberals suddenly came out of the depths of NDP polling land to possibly securing an election.

Carney hasn't mentioned Poilievre's name once since Feb 25. Right messages, right actions at the right time with nationalist fervor against Trump being the priority.

Poilievre has mentioned Carney 10 times on March 14 alone. And any mention of Trump is to try to stupidly tie Carney to Trump.

So all we hear today is Carney and how he's looking out for Canada, and we don't hear Poilievre or the CPC because they are too busy talking about Carney. Poilievre isn't saying why he would be the best PM, just that that other side is bad. It may have worked against Trudeau as everyone hated him, but it's no longer working when there is a new public enemy #1.

Why on earth the CPC thought this was a strategy that would work I have no idea. The way this is going, unless CPC pivots really hard, I don't think the election campaign will make a major change.
