When he’s been clear he doesn’t want to go I’m not sure why you ask him to waive. He’s set up roots here. He wants to be here. And there is something to be said for that given the number of players who haven’t wanted to be here. Same with Coleman.
This is a market that has a hard time attracting players. Asking those that have expressed strong desires to be here could make it even harder to attract and keep players

When you are trying to develope relationships and build trust, I 100% respect Conroy not going to ask something he already knew and further damaging a relationship.
He asked once, given his contract that is his right.
