That makes it already obsolete in this climate and it hasn't even left the showroom floor. Even if it doesn't have that kill switch I've read about recently, it also needs Pentagon mainframe approval to sortie, no matter what country it flies for. Another red flag.

I wonder if France and the UK are going to make the new 5th gen Eurofighter and Typhoon replacement a very viable option for Canada to switch to in lieu of the F35. Because at this point, might as well just throw that fighter jet budget out the door regardless. Also fits with Canada's constant procurement blunders.
