Pelletier just can't seem to catch a break.
Turns pro and puts in a near PPG season as a rookie (that's really good).
Sutter didn't give him much of a sniff the following season.
Huska takes over, and it looks like Pelletier is on his way...then gets injured - waste of a season.
This year doesn't have a great preseason, clears waivers, and takes a while to recover his game. Comes back up, and slowly starts looking better and better. Then he gets traded to a new organization just as he looks like he is building some momentum.
Now Torts is questioning him publicly on the new team.
Poor kid, really. Just when he starts to get some traction and momentum, something happens to make him slide. I still think he carves out a career in the NHL, and I would actually welcome him back here if he gets put on waivers. I find it impossible not to root for this kid, especially when he took the news of himself being traded so hard.
