My friends and I stole packs of hockey stickers from the local Mac's store. The method was rather comical. One day one of my friends was in the Mac's and a kid bumped into him and stuffed a couple packs into my friend's pocket and said "Take these, they know I've pocketed something, they won't watch you."... Very nervously my friend just up and left the store. Nobody paid any attention to him because the staff was watching to see the other kid steal.
So, a couple of days later 3 of us went to the Mac's to try the same thing. While I was standing in line to buy my two friends walked past me and they each slipped a couple of packs of stickers in my back pockets. I was as nervous as heck but apparently even at the age of 11 I had a good poker face and I left the store without any incident.
I got on my bike (ready for a quick takeoff) and watched my two friends in the store. One of my friends wasn't well prepared as he wore tight jeans (back then tight jeans were the standard). So he is standing in an awkward looking position while my other friend is having a hard time slipping the cards into our friend's pocket. I think it must've taken about 1 minute to get the cards into the pocket. There is no way the store clerks didn't notice them. They looked so lame in their attempts that I figure the clerk decided to have pity on them. We got away, but I felt guilt and that was the last time I ever participated in any such antics.
