I watched Logan's Run, another excellent pre Star Wars 70s sci Fi film. In the future everyone lives an idealistic hedonistic life, with the catch that once you turn 30 you get killed in a ritual called carousel. There are some people who try escape and are called runners. It's a super strange movie, but it has that 70s grit to it. This movie also won the Oscar for best special effects and Ross from Friends called it the sexiest movie ever before trying to make out with his cousin
