Before that tornado hit Elie, one formed about 25 miles west of there - just north of my parents house. They got a phone call from a neighbour to say one was north of their house, so they got in the truck to go take a look.
while watching a second tornado formed. That's when they decided to go back to the house, grab some stuff and head into town. One of those tornados took out a shed/grain bins about 4 miles from their house and about 10 hydro poles, but not the damage that happened in Elie.
Apparently mom got good picture but my parents are completely computer illiterate, so I've yet to actually see them.
