This is again, my opinion. I post on here because I appreciate different view points. But it seems some people want this forum to be an echo chamber of "the Flames are the best team on planet earth and Conroy can do no wrong, ever".

I dont know anyone that wants this site to be an echo chamber but there's no need to rehash the same thing over and over. And over. And over.
If your premise is true, lets say the Flames without Wolf are Sharks level bad and the Flames were picking top 5 in the draft this year. If the Flames knew they could use that selection on a goalie that would join the team immediately in 25/26 and become a perennial elite goalie, eventual Vezina contender or winner, and be with the team for the next decade plus, would you not be ecstatic with that draft selection?
That's the team with Wolf. Plus 4 more 1st round selections next two years. And a defenseman that shares a record with only Bobby Orr and likely goes top 3 in a redraft.
