I believe something like 8% of the workforce is FN people.

As for fighting Climate Change, the oil and natural gas industry has been doing much to reduce emissions and is engaged in various initiatives to reduce CO2.

Thanks to the Liberal Government, we have wasted 9 years, and have foregone a fortune in lost LNG sales, while we sat here and watched the US become the largest exporter of LNG on the planet. The Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin is primarily a gas basin, and we have the ability to sell our gas to places like China, so they can replace their coal with gas to reduce CO2. Not only would we be fighting climate change, but we would be making money to support our healthcare system, strengthen our defense system, and survive the tariff war.

With Carney's background re Climate Change, and his close relationship with Trudeau over the years, I don't see him being the person to take advantage of our resources.
Fair post. I also feel that our industries are strong world leaders, and previous governments, including Conservative, have sold Canada short on sustainable and progressive development.

I do disagree about Carney. I think he is currently our best bet and potentially could be an excellent leader for Canada. Time will tell.
