And in the 5 years before that the Calder was awarded 4 times (missed season due to lockout) and won twice by goalies. Cherry picking is fun! Here comes the statistic clue train CHOO CHOO.
03-04 Raycroft had 3 shutouts in 57 games on a far better bruins team than this years flames. He was 23.
00-01 Nabokov had 6 shutouts in 66 starts (hail Satan) on a pretty good SJ sharks team. He was 25.
24-25 Wolf has 3 shutouts in 38 starts on a…well…this team.
The only argument you could have made that would have been sensible is that Raycroft and Nabokov played far more games than Wolf, but to lean on shutouts as the only factor isnt a very well thought out argument.
