Backlund, Lomberg are 1 more year. Coleman is 2 more years. There is a decent chance the rest stay around for 3 years as it doesn't seem like Conroy is keen to trade anyone on contract.
Parehk is the one prospect that I've shoed in, because he's shown elite level talent.
Realistically what does everyone think is the range of this team over the next 3 years? Young players will get better but the old players will get worse.
Feels like a 12th - 22nd team to me.
We'll need something to eventually kickstart us out.

Clearly, a contender.
Obviously, I'm being a bit facetious here, but I have a serious point. We can make additions who would be above our existing players. We have the cap space and depth that we should be able to make attractive pitches to the likes of McDavid, Marner, Eichel, even if their hearts are currently elsewhere. Maybe a prospect breaks out. Maybe we make a trade futures for a guy under contract. Lots of possibilities to improve the team.
