I want the team to win. I want my kids to want to cheer for the team. This team won't win anything, and the way they're building will replicate what we have. I don't have any disdain for the club, just the conman and the people pulling his strings. Shame because I quite like conny the person, but conny the manager is either spineless or has the wrong idea. Probably doesn't help that he was never really part of a winning club in his career.

There are 32 teams who have the goal to win. Some now, some soon, and some down the road. But that is the goal of every team as far as I'm aware. Even the Sabres want to win. That means 31 other GM's you are competing with. Not everyone gets to win. Most will lose and get fired. Its always been this way. But you can't expect results overnight.
How can you look at Conroy's body of work in the less than 2 years he's been GM and say these things? He was left with an absolute mess from BT and Darryl to clean up. On the ice and in the room.
He's done a magnificent job so far.
