I wouldn't be surprised to see Andersson, Coleman, and maybe Kadri traded in the off season when there are more teams in the market for them. Right now, it's mostly just contenders looking for rentals and star players. In the off season there will be many more teams retooling for the next season.
The only deal that should have been on the table for the Flames was the Cozens deal, but Buffalo allegedly wanted Zary+ back. I'd be pretty apprehensive about pulling the trigger on that as well.

Will teams be trading those players for old declining players ? Probably not.
So how do we get them? Move out picks ?
That has been this organization problem since the lockout. Throw picks at the problems.
Getting those age range players also keeps us in contention for wild card spots but nothing more.
Even if we try to trade for elite players they will come at a time they are looking to cash in like a Rantanen or Huberdeau. Plus they are wingers.
Even cozen. He’s nothing special all he does is add to a logjam of middle 6 players. Chasing those trades doesn’t make a lot of sense when you have a bunch of them already.
