I want the team to win. I want my kids to want to cheer for the team. This team won't win anything, and the way they're building will replicate what we have. I don't have any disdain for the club, just the conman and the people pulling his strings. Shame because I quite like conny the person, but conny the manager is either spineless or has the wrong idea. Probably doesn't help that he was never really part of a winning club in his career.

My life is full of serious stuff that actually worries me.
Sports is fun for me.
When the team is trying to compete? Fun
When the team is re-building or re-whatevering? Fun!
When the team is making trades? Fun!
When the team is making a bet on its core? Fun!
I just don't understand the desire to constantly be dissatisfied with things. Chances are they aren't going to win a cup in the next 10 years, or maybe 20. So if you are basing your enjoyment on that being the only outcome that gives you joy - then man that's rough.
I'm here for the ride. Wherever it takes us.
