I personally dont see it that way. This year MAY be an outlier but maybe not, ride the cap space into next year and if this team continues to push for playoffs 2025/26 we can inject more top end talent on entry level deals (Parekh, Basha/Battaglia) then we make our move.
If this year was an outlier then we trade away (Raz/Coleman/Sharongovich) and be in a position to get high Draft fingers crossed McKenna
Conroy was/is very open about the plan and that this will be built the right way and that is through the draft.
