Fair man, I’m gonna go with my my wife’s opinion on it with her first hand dealings and education in this field. To each their own though. A quick google would show examples of all sorts of dogs getting quilled. Pit Bulls also aren’t a recognized breed, it’s more of a catch all name for the type of dog people associate by look. That’s why these accusations tend to be wildly inaccurate.
It all boils down to prey drive in the animal, my reserve mutt has snapped a metal clasp on her leash trying to catch a squirrel. A long since dead chihuahua once got a hold of an injured bird in our yard. That’s a pretty tough argument to quantify.
