Now, my personal opinion on this is also that of bleh. This team isn't good enough to win, the west is loading up across the board for a big push and were just hoping to limp in and "see what happens" and I too wish we would plan for the future instead.
With that out of the way I'll share what I'm hearing so far, its early and its busy so updates will be sporadic most likely:
Andersson's name is the hottest commodity right now, but will Craig move him? Value leading up to today just wasn't there, will a team step up with an offer that gets Craig to bite?
Kadri isn't going anywhere, its been said numerous times so I wont beat the dead horse but he wants to be in Canada, now more than ever and is committed to this team long term. He wants to win a cup with Calgary.
Miro likely moves today, but not for much.
Vladar was told he's staying put apparently.
Flames remain interested in that young center with term and a punishing d-man preferably to grow with the team
Don't see any market in the rentals, especially given the prices so far.
Flames have no interest in trading premium picks, unless premium assets are returned.
Flames did inquire on Rantanen, though there's speculation he wont commit to anyone long term right now.
I'll add there's a few surprising names out there, younger guys who need a change of scenery.
Flames are exploring these scenarios closely.

Thanks for the update, a bit disappointing that Conroy isn't willing to capitalize on the Sellers market but such is life. Still hope we are able to land some younger players with skill to help the future.
