It would be less of a problem if the slogans were backed but some fairly substantial policy proposals, but… they’re not. Carney was smart to pose the question: “Axe the tax… and then what?” because it highlights where the Liberals are shining and the Conservatives are failing. The CPC have had “ideas” for years… but there’s no indication they ever actually thought through those ideas.

It doesn’t help that when they do put some substance behind an idea (like the fentanyl/drug issue) it almost makes it even more apparent that they haven’t thought it through. Riddled with unconditional, self-contradicting and illogical nonsense.

I’m not sure PP or his team is equipped to develop or even talk about effective policy.
Have you thought of how much Carney's transfer of carbon taxes to industry will affect price of goods.

Have you thought about the possible influence of Carney's close associate, Guilbeault, and his environmental extremist mindset.

Have you thought about Carney's prominent role in fighting climate change and how his policies may alienate the West, and its ability to produce oil and gas.

Have you thought about how Carney's ideas on disadvantaging countries that export carbon will affect Canada.

The problem is CP is infested by one sided, rude people, who do everything possible to stifle conversation meant to get establish the truth, which often ends up somewhere in between the polarized views
