I do find it funny that CPC supporters were grousing the Carney didn’t have any actual plans. Well he just released some pretty detailed ones - certainly more detailed than what Poilievre has put forward.
Ball’s in your court, slogan-man.

Yeah, part of the problem while the idea that the Liberals are stealing Conservative ideas and making them their own is that the Liberals are the ones actually putting some level and thought into these ideas.
It would be less of a problem if the slogans were backed but some fairly substantial policy proposals, but… they’re not. Carney was smart to pose the question: “Axe the tax… and then what?” because it highlights where the Liberals are shining and the Conservatives are failing. The CPC have had “ideas” for years… but there’s no indication they ever actually thought through those ideas.
It doesn’t help that when they do put some substance behind an idea (like the fentanyl/drug issue) it almost makes it even more apparent that they haven’t thought it through. Riddled with unconditional, self-contradicting and illogical nonsense.
I’m not sure PP or his team is equipped to develop or even talk about effective policy.
