And definitely small sample anecdotes but the friends and co-workers who have lived near an LRT station before they were put in, they have definitely not found it a net benefit for them. Small sample certainly. I'm happy to not have to deal with it either way.
As an aside, apparently it's a bit of a meme in Westbrook to have Peace Officer vehicles dumped without their wheels. Supposedly its not a theft thing (maybe) but I'm surprised that's legal to just leave it abandoned like that. Having grown up in the NE, it wasn't something I saw even then lol.

It's not like Westbrook was a wealthy haven prior to the C-train station. that area has always been a bit of an eyesore. Having a giant mall and parking lot there certainly doesnt help.
