If Wolf gets $8.5 and somehow Zary and Coronato got $7.5 each, that's $23,500,000 and the Flames would still have $39,912,500 in available space. Bahl and Frost are the only other current NHL regulars that needs and will get a new contract. The rest are Wranglers that will get promoted, other ELC's, and whatever UFA's they sign. They will continue to have loads of cap space for a long time.

Not disagreeing at all, but if they do add someone line Ratanen (say 14 mil) it eats a big piece of what’s left.
