I watched a slew of pretty good movies over the weekend:
Dallas Buyers Club - 8/10. I knew McConaughey had a great performance going into this movie but was blown away by Jared Leto. I thought the story was good but the actors performances really carried the movie.
Reservoir Dogs - 9/10. This was the only Tarantino flick I hadn't watched, I think it may be my new favorite.
Stranger than Fiction - 7/10. I threw this movie on not expecting much. I was surprised by Ferrell's acting and the overall narrative came together better than expected.
Her - 8/10. Amazon Prime had this listed under 'action' which I thought was funny for a movie that's 90% just a guy talking to his phone. I loved the movie, I thought it gave a really clear perspective on relationships and the human condition and is even more relevant 10+ years after its release.
A Real Pain - 7/10. I enjoyed this film overall and can respect Culkin's performance. I wanted to enjoy this film a lot more than I did, maybe it was a bit too subtle for my taste.
