I felt real bad for that one guy in the group of three who won late... they clearly timed it out, each guy taking about 20 seconds, and then the third guy gets cut off.

I bet it's a nightmare task. You give the nominees the rules, then someone gets up there and their brain goes to scrambled eggs and they use up all the time blathering. I get it.

But it seems more often than not there's somebody that plays by the rules and gets screwed over. Every year they give the best actor 5 minutes to talk about agriculture or some damn thing but the sound editor who's just reached his life's apex can't say hi to his kids.
