Yea, I think the most shocking thing to me is how quickly and how easily American democracy and its various guardrails have fallen. I know they've fired a few officers/generals, but you'd think there would still be someone- anyone- at the Pentagon/CIA/military who knows that this is insane and needs to be stopped. Where are these so-called patriots, and what are they waiting for? Paper tigers indeed.
