Wouldn’t the same thought process apply to every defenceman? If every trade target is going to improve their quality of game on your team wouldn’t it be smarter to pick who:
A) Cost less to acquire or;
B) Perform better at the same acquisition cost
If we didn’t have Wolf on the team and Florida wanted Andersson for Knight and a first that would be a great trade for both teams. I value Andersson significantly more than Jones.
