When they blow a 1st on a 30+ player then you can wonder about changing directions. But creating these self-invented conditions is just silly. Who are we retooling around ? That’s the issue. We have zero star players up front.
I don’t hate the Forst and Farabee trade but they are both in their prime years. Whatever production they provide should be complementing star players which we have zero outside of Wolf.
Unless a Jack Eichel pops up that really should be the last trade Conory makes that involves any picks.
Keeping Andersson gives the impression he think the team can compete. They can’t. Andersson is also extremely overrated.
What I’m starting to feel is the same thing that happened under Sutter but this time with younger players and no star forward.
