I’m really intrigued at the comment about better decent angle, what’s better steeper? What’s the spin rate difference, should be better with an iron no?
I play around a 6 HCP, and most my golf buddies are in around the same. There’s a few with simulators, and I find that now everyone is so stuck in the data, that they are spending thousands of dollars on new clubs, balls, grips etc etc based on the data every winter. I’m not sure it actually translates onto the course for the avg golfer, my buddies will still shoot between 72 and 85 on any given day. I feel like the data is being used to sell people on stuff, IMO. I’ve never had a formal lesson, but I feel like that would be the place to start? Or am I out to lunch lol.
