See, to me that’s an easy end-around. You put out the first budget and trot out the “those morons left us a huge mess to deal with and we had to get control of the fiscal situation in the province. This was the least painful way and the taxes are still lower than they were before”. Instead, they basically handed the UCP a loaded gun. I have no idea what other outcome they expected at that point.
