Does it though? You just said it, everyone is sitting back and watching this stuff like a TV show. I try to avoid it as much as I can, but I go see my dad and he has CNN or MSNBC on all day and you listen to how these people talk about what's going on, and yet they're still smirking and chuckling as they make their digs at the administration... why are you laughing? None of what you're describing is funny.

It's like there is some disconnect between the seriousness of the situation and the state of disbelief everyone seems to have as it washes over them. If things are as bad as they seem, and as they're made out to be, there should be blood in the streets already. Yet there seems to be no prospect of it happening. So I'm not sure you're right that it'll all come apart or that something has to give eventually.
