Disagree a little with this.
When you look at the replay there was a Capitals player at the top of the crease and no Flame within 10-12 feet.
Looked more like Vladar was hedging his bets on a cross pass in front instead of squaring up playing just the shot.
Tough to play shot and pass as a goalie when you have Ovechkin taking the one timer.
