Looking at NHL Edge it looks like his shot speed and shooting % has fallen over the last couple of years. It's hard to say if he's lost a half step but he hasn't looked very good this year (for him). 28 years old, he's getting to that "reinvent" your game stage but I'm not sure he's got the chops for it.
