Look, I like skiing. By that I mean spefically the part when you're at the top and actually making your descent and taking in the views.
Everything else in between is awful. And that's most of what a ski day entails. Driving, dressing, hauling, walking, waiting. And when you're sitting its in people's sweaty equipment smell.
And then the part where you're paying out the nose for an activity that is so simple that it really shouldn't cost what it does if you're bringing your own equipment.
Unless running lifts costs a fortune that I'm unaware of.
In the end, the juice ain't worth the squeeze outside of maybe a day per season when you're really feeling energetic and I guess so you can say you got out there.
Oh and the freezing. I forgot the freezing. Namely while totally exposed to a -20 wind dangling in the air waiting for the damn chair to move.
