One nice thing about LG is their flat rate after warranty repair system. Basically you fill out a form describing the model, when you bought it, and what the problem is and it quotes you a flat rate to fix it.
When the repair guy arrives he'll just throw parts at it until it's fixed. Happened to our fridge where it feels like he replaced half the fridge for something like $350.
