That's true, although I think that illustrates the need we have for another half way decent left shot defensemen which is why I think it's important that the likes of Solo, and Kuznetsov get meaningful looks. Weegar while playing the left side has clearly struggled with the righties we have available.
We know what Hanley is, and Bean is better suited for that role anyway.
Hanley is about as expendable of an asset as there is given his age, ability, and contract status. It's the bottom end of the roster so it's rather inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but I'd also like to see what Miromanov is capable doing in a more limited role. He's almost exclusively played with Weegar in a top four capacity which isn't an easy task for a guy with such limited NHL time. That is tough to do though with Pachal solidifying himself on the 3rd pair.
