Sure, the OHL has more talent and is a stronger league overall than the QMJHL, but that also works both ways. Gridin is top 10 in Q scoring as a rookie in that league despite playing with no other NHL drafted prospects in Shawinigan. He leads the team in goals, assists, points, shots on net, and plus minus.
It's funny to me that Bukala believes Parehk's numbers would be even better in the Q, and that Gridin's numbers would dip in the OHL. It would in fact be the exact opposite of that.
