His defensive metrics are still strong
But something is wrong with his legs for sure, somebody had posted the NHL Edge numbers but his skating has been drastically worse over the last 8 months in both speed bursts and top speed.
Vancouver seems to have some training staff issues where both Demko and Pettersson's injury issues were downplayed but might be more serious than they are leading on.
Clearly something going on physically with him, here is the article about his NHL edge numbers
