Surely this is the year that Schneider gets dumped when things take a turn south for a stretch in May or June. Atkins and Shapiro don't go anywhere if they still have/not forced to move on from their onfield scapegoat still in place.

I think the noise around Bo and Vlad from the press will be too much for Atkins and Shapiro to put off. They seem to think the issues around those two will resolve themselves and have stuck their head in the sand about them. That's easier to ignore in the offseason, but once they are out in the field everyday (and producing) Atkins and Shapiro will have to address it legitimately. I don't think they personally want to keep either of them but are being forced by ownership to try and work it out with the homegrown talent, which is why it's dragging out in both cases, and price tags have gone up after another offseason.

Just have a feeling that SP somehow will be an issue this year. It was the only part of the game that kept the Jays in it the first 3 months of the year last year, until they got worn out, and was underrated how well they did those initial months with non existent run support.

My guess is offense will be better but SP will take a step back. They'll have to win games 5-4 next year not 3-2 like last year, so bullpen will be the wild card, tasked to help out the starters as my guess as to whether they squeak into a WC or not.
