Sure, but IMO its way more unfair to think he will.
Very very few guys can hit the NHL running, particularly on the blueline.
There is nothing wrong with playing 1 more year of junior if thats the only other option because of the AHL/NHL agreement.
You rush guys like him, and your chances of ruining him are equal or better than him having a big impact off the bat.
Dominating 18/19 year olds is a long long way from NHL level guys.
I truly hope he becomes what we all want as Flames fans and there are different ways to get him there. Conroy knows this as well as anyone, and it's really hard not to trust him based on the job he has done thus far.
