Ideally, I would want Parekh to play next to a reliable defenceman that breaks up plays and can help guide him along. Someone like Weegar might be a good fit if the flames are ok with Weegar playing the left side and if they are ok with a rookie defenceman in the top 4. Doubt they would be eager to do that to start the season next year though.
