I feel like we aren’t holding the government accountable at all for scandals / ethical breaches. In fact, by casting a vote for them, you are saying it is ok. Why would it be ok at one level of government and not the other?
It seems hypocritical to want to vote Liberal and at the same time chastise the provincial government.
(Cue the “but we don’t like PP” crowd…)

I still think the swiss model should be considered. Get rid of the politicians and decisions made via referendum. The bureaucracy stays in place to run things.
