yes, 6ft. I guess it doesn't HAVE to be a single piece but that looks nicest. I will no doubt have other mirrors, possibly in the bedrooms, but the vanity and mirror are essentially separate anyway. Basically thinking something like this.

It's kinda nuts. For instance on Home Depot, at 6 ft, you can get 72" x 80" mirror doors for like <$400. A 71" x 36" vanity can be between $1-2K easily.
Correct, just south of 2K seems to be the sweet spot for buying them new and getting a decent quality one. I am hoping to get something like that but at a discount, so I'm only paying ~1200ish

Still though, I'd make sure the vanity was as big as possible within a budget you are comfortable with. I wouldn't pay $1-2K for a single 6 ft bathroom vanity. Within that same budget, I'd maybe consider a good value 4-5ft vanity and maybe a mirror door for the shower that is big enough for head to toe?
No separate standing shower in the bathroom, just a 6 foot tub with built in shower head. But I can put a mirror on the linen closet or whatever. The issue isn't the mirror, it's that I want the vanity itself for bathroom storage and just as bathroom furniture. It's a large bathroom; 10'x14' (although it will also have the washer and dryer and laundry and linen storage in there also).
