No. Stucco wouldn't make a difference. Attic rain typically means some combination of
-you have really high humidity inside
-don't have good air sealing between house/attic
-don't have good ventilation (soffit helps with that) in the attic to let the moisture out
If it's attic rain, the humidity in your house is migrating to your attic, freezing when it's cold, and then 'raining' in your attic when it warms up.
