Long story short, he’s spent so long aping Trump and the association (which he desired) has become so strong that it will take more than some flaccid days-too-late “omg Canada IS sovereign!” speech to reverse course and change perception.

Now this op ed will likely get skewered because of its author and where it is published, but it is correct .... and I'm a lifelong federal conservative voter who can't fathom voting for PP, guess that makes me part of the radical left (which in reality is anyone around the centre these days)
