My view on it as an expat that lives in the states is "better hope not" cause if the US actually does decide to kick off WWIII and violently overtakes Canada that's gonna be curtains for everybody.
There is nothing anyone can do and nowhere on this continent you can go. If you’re truly that worried about it I say get your passport for whatever euro country you can and run now cause if it comes down to it it'll be too late.
