I like Coronato on a scoring line, though I would have preferred it to be with Frost. I think being on Backlund's wing was really good for his development, but I do think that the Flames can better use his offensive skill-set on a scoring line. Hopefully he does well!
Hunt is fine in the lineup. I would have preferred Klapka on the the 4th and Pospisil being a checker on the 3rd instead, but that 4th line needs a boost. Wouldn't surprise me to see Huska switch Pospisil and Hunt during the game, or even Pospisil and Rooney for a look or two.
Huge game. Although there is a lot of games left, this feels to me like a 'make it or break it' point in the season. Seattle is a winnable game tonight, especially at home. The 4 Nations break starts for the Flames after tonight's game, and it will be a lot better staying close to the playoff picture with that tough road trip coming up when the NHL resumes. Lose tonight, and it almost feels like the floor gets yanked from underneath them in terms of playoff chances. 2 points away from Vancouver who are getting healthy and have an easier schedule, and the death-spiraling Kings have found their footing again, winning 3 straight to sit 5 points up while having 2 games in hand.
Hopefully they win tonight, and head on this break in a decent situation. Canucks have a game tonight as well against a tougher opponent - the Leafs. However, they are on their last game of their 4-game road trip in which they have gone 3-0. Will they be tired and looking past this game? Flames really need these two points tonight to stay in this race. It is definitely not do or die, but it just feels like it for me.
